Year 9 English as an Additional Language

This course is only an option for those students whose first language is not English.

Course Aims:

To provide extra written and spoken language support for students whose English language still need development.

Course Outline:

• Reading;
• Writing;
• Grammar;
• Speaking;
• Listening; and
• Assistance is also given with other subjects when required.

If students develop a good standard of English during the year they can move to another option if they wish.
