Course Description

You will be placed into a Year 11 Math course based on your performance in Year 10. If you wish to follow a particular pathway to Level 3 Calculus or Statistics please inform your teacher or the Head of Faculty, Ms Evans.
This course covers a range of topics and focuses on the key skills required to follow the pathway to NCEA Level 3 General Mathematics. It will focus on number, algebra, measurement, trigonometry, statistics and probability. All standards offered are internally assessed, although some students may opt into an externally assessed standard if they are interested in Calculus or Statistics at NCEA Level 3.
This course leads to a University Entrance approved subject.
