NCEA Level 2 Physical Education
Course Description

Physical Education program is co-construction with students at the start of the year. All standards within the Physical Education program are Level 2 Achievement Standards. The program is completely internally assessed with no external standards.
Students will experience and participate in a range of physical activities in a variety of
Contexts. Developing learning and key concepts from 11PED students will cover topics such as:
- Responsible attitude to their own well-being;
- Respect, care, concern for other people and the environment;
- Social justice;
- Inter-relationships between the individual, others, and society; and
- Anatomy and Physiology.
Credits which count towards literacy requirements.
This course leads to a University Entrance approved subject.
Field trips: To be confirmed.
