NCEA Level 1 Art Portfolio - Painting & Design
Course Description
Teacher in Charge: K. Watkins.
This course is designed to introduce you to a world of digital painting and photography, while still building those all important painting skills. You will produce a portfolio of work which will express your passions and the artist models that inspire you. With an added focus on photography and learning the fundamental skills of ‘painting with the lens’, you will take physical art making skills into a digital realm.
This course leads to a University Entrance approved subject.

Recommended Prior Learning
Successful completion of Year 10 Art or Head of Department approval.

You will be assessed in this course through all or a selection of the standards listed below.
Total Credits Available: 20 credits.
