NCEA Level 2 Physics
- Practical skills and physical relationships;
- Light and waves;
- Mechanics (motion, forces, momentum, energy);
- Electricity and magnetism; and
- Atomic physics.
This course leads to a University Entrance approved subject.
Field trip: One day trip to University of Canterbury.

Recommended Prior Learning
A minimum of 16 Level 1 Science credits including a physics standard with at least 12 credits at Merit level or above or in consultation with Head of Science.
This course needs to be taken if you intend continuing with this subject at Level 3 (Year 13).
