NCEA Level 2 Materials Technology: Building
Course Description
Teacher in Charge: S. Stephen.
Students will undertake challenging projects which build on previous knowledge.
There will be some design input and develop outcomes using our very well equipped workshops. Access to laser cutting and CNC routering means you can really develop relevant industry skills.
Outcomes will be of quality and reflect your effort.
Unit standards are predominantly used for assessment which link to the Building industry.
Recommended Prior Learning
This course builds on the skills introduced in 11MTB, so students are expected to have successfully completed a year 11 workshop technology course or join the class at the discretion of the HOD or HOF.
