NCEA Level 2 Sport & Exercise Performance
Course Description

Sport and Exercise Performance is a very practically based subject where students will experience and participate in a wide range of physical activities in a variety of contexts. Students are required to participate full in the practical aspects of this program as it supports learning and is often needed for successful completion of the assessments.
Students will develop a better understanding of their own well-being and how they interrelate with their community and environment. The program will develop the students understanding of the human body within a range of fitness and weight training settings.
Credits for this program are a mix of both Unit and Achievement Level 2 standard. Some written evidence is required for most of the standards.
This course does not lead to a University Entrance approved subject.
